Subsequently, they’ll ring you up, attempting to nudge you into opening a genuine account and putting some of your hard-earned cash at stake. I received one such call and was firm about my need for time to familiarise myself with the platform. Despite their persistent follow-up calls, I’ve opted to ignore them for now.

Avoid Fortrade at all costs, they’re just scammers and annoying cold-callers. I’ve blocked them already, you should too.

The call began with a distinctly American automated voice stating that it was Fortrade on the line. Fortrade happens to be a platform for stock market trading and investments. Quite curious, isn’t it? Why on earth would an app feel the need to ring me up?

I got a call from something called ForTrade App, said it was from Google Play or something like that. Kinda strange though, since I didn’t expect a Google Play app to actually ring me up. Might wanna check out the reviews on Google first before downloading it, there’s some sketchy stuff in there.
