Someone called saying they were from Legal and General, and I told them I’m actually with one of the largest life insurers in the UK. They asked which one and I said Royal London. They just said oh and then immediately ended the call! 🙄

He sounded pretty young, with a thick accent. Said he was ringing from SO ENERGY and calls get recorded. He wanted to ask me a few questions to see if I could save some cash. Claimed he could knock £5 off my bill every month and was really pushy about switching. Even after I said I’d rather speak to my current provider, he kept trying to get me to say yes. Eventually, he gave up and got a bit rude when he couldn’t convince me.

Got a call from this number about an hour ago, some guy claiming to be from an energy firm called SO ENERGY, which I'd never come across before. There’s loads of energy providers anyway, he started going on about switching and prices. Something felt off though. Told him I’d need to think it over and call back later tomorrow. Then he said prices might increase by then. Gave the name Zack, but that’s probably made up. So yeah, not really keen on switching based on that call, especially with that dodgy number. I’ll have a proper look and try to find SO ENERGY’s real contact details.

Got a call from this number. The man said he was calling to check if he could lower my electric bill. I thought it sounded dodgy and told him I was going to end the call, but he kept chatting. I repeated I was hanging up, then finally ended the call and blocked the number.
