Got a call claiming to be from O2 saying my SIM was going to stop working soon because of some 5G upgrade. They said they wanted to send out a new SIM but asked me for a code that, as far as I remember, clearly said not to share it with anyone! Sounded dodgy to me.

They said they were from O2, but there’s no way they were legit - total scammer.

Got a dreadful call from what sounded like Tesco, trying to pressure me by saying my SIM card was about to be cut off. Total scam, really pushy bunch.

Got a call from someone saying they were with O2, telling me my O2 sim was going to be disconnected soon. They tried to sell me a different plan or something. Bit weird since I don’t even use O2 as my provider!

This number keeps ringing me even though I’ve blocked it since it’s unfamiliar. My phone shows the calls are auto blocked now, but they still keep coming through somehow. I reckon it’s gotta be some kind of scam because I have no idea who or what company 02037456095 is, plus I’m ex-directory and on the TPS list, so no one legit should have my number.

Got loads of calls from this number and since I didn’t know who it was, I just ended up blocking it.

Someone phoned saying they were from 3 but it felt fishy. Definitely looks like a scam, best steer clear.

They called claiming to be from Three, saying they would be switching off the 3G and 4G networks soon and would send me a new SIM card. Then they asked for my email to verify, but I told them no way am I giving out my info.

I didn't say a word, figured it's better not to these days so they can't tape what u say. Just listened out for them to talk first, like I was a normal person calling, but they stayed quiet the whole time. Definitely one of those silent calls.

Happened to me just like everyone else mentioned. He was asking for my email so I gave it to him, said it was [email protected]. He didn't quite catch it, so I said it again and then just ended the call.

Called me back! Twice in one day, can you believe it? (Referencing my earlier note here). This second time, the caller tried to sell me a new SIM with a discount - said I’m entitled to 30% off for six months (didn’t realise they changed from the 12 months his colleague mentioned this morning). To verify I was the account holder, he asked for my email address. I told him I'd need proof he actually had my details already, and even gave him a hint with part of my email since I have so many accounts and wasn’t sure which one he meant. He claimed it was my 3 Network email, something like [email protected] or whatever. I said I don’t use that email, I’m on different ones. After that, he just said “Alright, Sir,” and hung up - no warning, just cut me off! Bit rude if you ask me. I reckon they got my number from an old contract and they’re hoping to piece together a full email login using my phone and email to gain access or something dodgy like that.

I usually don’t pick up calls from numbers I don’t recognise. Legit people usually leave a message if it’s important. Seeing what others have said, this sounds like one of those scam calls, so I’ve just blocked it straight away.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from “3 Network,” promising me 30% off my mobile bill. Thing is, I’m not with 3 anymore - haven’t been for years. The guy had a really dull Indian accent, sounded dead bored, like he was just rushing through some tired scam script. Honestly, with a voice like that, I doubt he’s got any chances with acting or even making friends. He kept telling me I’ve been a loyal customer and could get a discount for the next year. He even repeated the last digits of my number to sound legit. Then he asked if I knew how much I was paying. I fired back with, “if you’re offering me 30% off, you surely know how much I pay, right?” But he just stumbled, kept asking me if I knew the amount. You could tell he was getting annoyed, stuck on some lame scam chat with someone who’d already got the “Possible Scam” alert on their phone and wasn’t about to be tricked.

My android phone showed this number as "possible scam" right away. The person on the other end kept going on about some issue with my account, but it all sounded fishy and unclear to me. Definitely felt like a scam call.
