On 5th March 2021, I got a call from someone saying he was with Expat Services International. He mentioned we’d had a quick chat the previous year and that he was checking in about my BT pension plan. He said I was too occupied then to go into details, but couldn’t actually explain what we supposedly discussed. I’ve never had any talks with them, or anyone else, about pensions in years. The website they gave me looked polished but seemed dodgy when you looked closer. I’m pretty sure he found my info on LinkedIn. The whole thing felt quite believable since he wasn’t pushy like your typical spam calls.
