1 yearOver the past month, I’ve been getting 3 calls from these lot saying they're from some life insurance company. Thing is, I’ve never got any life insurance myself. So, I asked them to remove my details from their records. This guy Owen answered and acted like he had no clue what I was talking about, which instantly set off warning signs. That’s when I figured out it was a total scam. Lucky for me I’m quite young - just think if they’d rung someone in their 50s who actually did take out life insurance recently! Would be a nightmare.Owen2 yearsGot a call from someone with a posh English accent telling me I qualified for a bonus. They asked me to reply to a text to confirm it. Totally fishy, so I just blocked and ignored it.2 yearsSame as others mentioned here. The caller claimed I qualified for a bonus and asked to send me a text. When I asked which casino it was from, he mumble something I couldn't understand and didn't know the name. I told him I wasn't interested, so no message was sent. Pretty sure it's just a scam tho.2 yearsTotal scam, best to just ignore it. Never give out any details about yourself. Just block the number and make sure you report it.2 yearsGot a call from someone claiming to be a casino, but they never really said the name clearly. They told me I’d been picked to win something in some ‘early bird’ promotion and asked if it was okay to text me. I just said no right away. Definitely sounded like one of those dodgy scam calls, probably from some call centre in India.2 yearsGot a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming my number was picked for a prize draw. They kept texting me beforehand. When they rang today asking to verify my identity, I just ended the call. Best not to share any info with these lot.2 yearsGot a call saying I’d won a spot on some casino site and they wanted to email me details. I just told them no thanks, didn’t trust it at all.2 yearsThese are clearly con artists. Just disregard them, report their antics, and then add them to your blocked list.2 yearsThese are just scammers. Best to report them, then block and ignore all together.2 yearsI tried ringing the number again, but was met with a message saying access was denied.Submit Your Own Report (020 3745 3742)
