Could anyone clarify whether this is a legitimate reservation number from South Africa? I'm a bit sceptical and wondering if this is just a dodgy number. Are they actually trustworthy?

I had a phone call late last night at around 10pm from the number 02037453435. The chap on the other end had a distinctly African accent and seemed to know all about my previous trip to Dakar last year. He was rather eager to know if I was thinking of going back, promising me bargain flight tickets. Sensing where this was heading, I figured it wouldn't be long before he started fishing for my card information. Not a chance - I'm not that easily roped in! So, I pointed out that it's actually against the law to conduct sales calls past 9 o'clock on weekdays and 8 on weekends. I made it crystal clear that if I were to book another holiday, I'd be going through a proper agency, and then I told him to take a hike!
