Got a call from a noisy call centre where the person claimed to be from O2, saying they were cancelling all 4G sims and replacing them with 5G ones. When they asked for my personal info, I just hung up. They tried ringing again but I blocked the number straight away.

got a voicemail saying "message from 24/7. there’s an urgent matter you need to sort asap. log into your 24/7 account online or call 02037453238, or press 1 to chat with someone from their helpful team. please don’t just ignore it as it could cause more problems. cheers, 24/7” called back to see what it was about and turns out they’re pushing payday loans. they seem to switch between different london phone numbers.

This number is from some payday loan company using an auto dialler, calling me for the third time now. I picked up and pressed 1 to be connected. The girl on the other end was hesitant to say who she was and totally wouldn't say why she was calling. So, I was pretty careful not to give out any of my info. I can't block the number ‘cause it’s a work phone on the office system. Why can’t she just admit it’s pointless for both of us?
