I didn’t pick up the call at first but called back and an Asian bloke answered asking for my social security number to transfer me to the correct department. I said no way to sharing personal info, then the call just cut off. Later, I got a voicemail sounding proper threatening, claiming to be from HMRC and telling me to ring them back or have my lawyer contact them, otherwise there would be serious consequences. This needs sorting out quick.
