Someone rang my office number a few times over a couple of days, always asking for me by name. They left a contact number and mentioned they’d be on Teams after 11 in the morning. It felt awkward because when they spoke to my coworkers, they acted like they knew me personally and chatted like it was a usual thing. The company was called Clear View, said they’re a net zero consultancy. I called back to tell them we weren’t interested and that we’re on the TPS list, then they just hung up on me.
