The call was riddled with background noise, making it quite difficult to hear properly. The person on the other end was inquiring about a car accident that I have no recollection of ever being involved in.

I just ended up blocking them right after they called. They claimed I was due some payout from a car crash I supposedly wasn’t at fault for. I played along and said I was expectin a call like that. They started askin loads about the accident and I gave some answers. But when they tried to get personal info, I told them I’ve never even driven or had a licence! If that ain’t a dead giveaway it’s a con, then I don’t know what is. Seriously, keep going if you wanna get scammed.

I got a call claiming it was about a second compensation for a car crash I had been in. They told me I was due £2500 but just needed me to answer a couple of security questions. I asked them which accident exactly they meant. They couldn't tell me, instead they asked when my last accident happened. I said if I was really owed a second payout, the insurance firm would have sent me something official in the post by now? Then they just hung up on me. I don’t believe this was a legit company trying to help with extra compensation - it feels like a scam, so watch out!

amf keeps ringing about some no blame crash i was in and saying they can help me get compensation for trouble caused. i told them many times to stop calling but they keep on, this must be the 4th or 5th call now and its really annoying. today they called again even after i said no thanks and they said i can't just refuse to claim. its been really upsetting as my husband passed away after the accident back in march this year.
