Got a call from someone who asked if I was me, using my actual name which really threw me off. Claimed they were doing some kind of Covid 19 survey. They asked if I’d been vaccinated and even if I’d had both doses. When I began to question if they were seriously from the NHS or related to the vaccine programme, the caller just cut me off. Pretty unsettling that they already knew my name and number!

I picked up the call without my specs on. Some Asian guy asked if I was me, used my name, then goes, 'You've had all your jabs, right?' I told him, 'I'm a nurse, I give those jabs - they wouldn’t ring me up like this when I’m swamped.' Then, he just hung up on me. What worries me most is how they got my name. We all tick those forms but it's pointless, no one seems to block these calls.
