Phone number ☎️ 02037403517 👆 is reported as a persistent scam linked to unsolicited texts claiming users have subscribed to a £4.50 weekly premium service from Nexgen Ltd or associated names. Many recipients deny authorising these charges, which appear despite no explicit consent. Attempts to stop payments by replying 'STOP' to a shortcode sometimes work but often do not guarantee refunds or prevent further deductions. Mobile providers like Vodafone, O2, and Tesco have been urged to block such premium services, yet users frequently experience poor support and difficulty recovering funds. The company behind the texts often behaves evasively when contacted. Vigilance is advised: do not respond or call the number provided, report the issue to your provider and the Phone Services Authority, and monitor your bills for unexpected deductions.

I’ve noticed £4.50 has been taken from my Vodafone account three times: on the 20th and 27th of May, as well as the 3rd of June. When I reached out to Vodafone about it, they advised me to get in touch with "My Life" at 02037403517 to reclaim my funds. They mentioned that these deductions were linked to a competition, but the thing is, I’ve never participated in any competitions!

I got a message from NexGen saying I'd have to pay £4.50 a week for Games4mobile. At first, I figured it was dodgy based on what others had said before. So, I used Vodafone's online chat to get them to block any premium texts going in or out. Fingers crossed that does the trick!

I've received a message indicating that money will be deducted from my account on a weekly basis. I didn’t reply with "STOP" like one would do with other con artists, so I'm wondering what my next steps should be. Should I just sit tight for a month and observe whether I get charged?

Whoever is behind this, I never requested any games. Sounds like a total scam to me. I really hope they don’t manage to take any payment, but from what I’ve seen, there’s barely anything we can do to stop it. Still, how on earth do they even get hold of our phone numbers in the first place?

As soon as I got that message, I rang up the 02 fraud team straight away. They told me to reply with "STOP" to 64055. I got a text saying I'd been unsubscribed pretty much right after.

A mate of mine discovered some unexpected fees on her statement linked to Jammitup.com for services she never actually requested. It seems these businesses can get away with this sort of thing! The Phone Services Authority suggests she should reach out to the company for a refund-there's a number you can check on their Service Checker tool. However, if she doesn’t receive a satisfactory response, it would be wise to file a report on the PSA's website. It could be that the company is flouting some rules. Over the past couple of months, I’ve noticed a hefty £18 has been siphoned off my Tesco mobile account, all without my consent, thanks to Game4 Phones (Nexgen Ltd). Tesco has now pointed me towards the PSA for assistance. I'm quite disheartened, to be honest. My provider, Tesco, really ought to have safeguards in place to prevent unauthorised access to my mobile account.

I’ve just had a bizarre message informing me that I'll be charged £4.50 weekly for a service I never signed up for. The deductions will commence tomorrow, which is rather alarming! I plan to pop into Tesco to seek their assistance. They’ve mentioned something about a three-month games trial, but I’m not one for gaming on this device. How are they managing to pull this off?

I got this dodgy text on my O2 mobile, right? Even when I just deleted it without replying, I started getting billed £4.50 every week. Tried sorting it out with O2 but they just brushed me off, saying it's a phone-related fee and not their issue. If you want to stop it, try texting 'STOP' to 64055.

I've been a victim of fraud with this number, and they managed to withdraw £65.96 from my O2 account. Back in January, I reached out to O2, and they assured me that they would put a stop to this unauthorised charge, as I never consented to it in the first place. They informed me that the only way I'd be able to recover my funds was to contact the number directly and have a word with one of their representatives. I tried calling several times, but I had no luck. I reached out to O2 again today, and thankfully, they have now halted any future withdrawals from this company. Additionally, I've taken the precaution of cancelling my direct debit with O2 entirely!

I was fleeced of £40 before I finally got O2 to put a stop to it. Whatever you do, don’t reply with ‘stop’ to that number they send you. All you’ll achieve is confirming your details, and then you’ll end up on some list for even more of these con artists to target. I’ve seen reports that OffTel is investigating this lot... Totally dodgy operation if you ask me! They’ve been siphoning off £4.50 a week without so much as a nod of consent, and for what? Nothing to show for it! When you ring this number, you end up in some American-tinged voicemail system that’s meant for a bunch of different firms. They’re all after your name and email address to hand off to whatever company you're trying to reach. I chose to keep my personal details to myself, thank you very much. I was hit with a charge of £4.50 today for a service I was completely unaware of and certainly do not wish to use. I was behind the wheel at the time, so there's no way I could have consented to this. It feels like outright theft, no two ways about it, and it should really be addressed by the authorities. I've encountered a similar issue a total of three times, where they've managed to deduct £4.50 from my account each time. After reaching out to Vodafone about it, they explained that when those pesky ads appear and you either dismiss them or click 'OK', there's often a hidden agreement lurking behind them, essentially binding you to a subscription without realising it. This means Vodafone's hands are tied when it comes to refunds; they're only able to attempt to block these types of charges. I'm planning to ring the complaints team today to voice my concerns.

Received a rather concerning message today stating they’d deducted £4.50. I promptly responded with 'stop' and gave them a ring. I just got a message today, dated 11/10/18. It read: FreeMsg: Cheers for signing up to Just4Life for a weekly fee of £4.50 from Nexgen Ltd, and you can opt out by texting STOP to 64055. Need assistance? Call 02037403517. I did a bit of digging on the premium number 64055, and it seems to be linked to various scams, including other dodgy numbers based in London.
