Just like a few others here, I called thinking it was about some council repair, but the phone warned me it was a scam number. When I get calls from these, I usually pick up and then stay completely quiet, letting them fiddle about trying to get a response. It’s honestly quite funny because it wastes their time, annoys them to bits, and maybe even puts them off calling more people that day since they’re stuck with you on the line. If everyone did that, those scammer blokes would be tearing their hair out by evening. Poor sods, really.

It’s likely just another dodgy automated call. They seem to be incessantly flooding our phones. It makes one wonder - why can’t someone find a way to put an end to this nuisance?

I received a dubious call from someone claiming to be from the housing department, but the line was so fuzzy it was difficult to make out what they were saying.

The phone flagged the incoming call as possible spam, so I just didn’t pick up. Ended up blocking that number plus loads more like it 🙈

I usually dont pick up calls from numbers i dont recognise. If I do call back, I always look them up first. Dont ever share your personal info, especially bank stuff! Most times those calls are just dodgy folks trying to con you. I’ve marked this number as suspicious and blocked it straight away, would recommend you do too!

This number called me but didnt bother to leave any voicemail or message. Bit annoying when you try to find out who it was.
