10 yearsGot a call from some investment firm who said I downloaded a report from them before 2015. I told them I was on the telephone preference service and kept getting loads of calls like this. I didn’t know the bloke who’d called earlier or the company he said he worked for. I made it clear I wasn’t interested and wanted my number removed from their list. But he just wouldn’t take no for an answer. When I asked for his manager’s contact, he claimed he was the boss and wouldn’t give another number. First he offered his first name, then got all awkward when I spelled it out (like I’m gonna mess up “Jonathan” - I know plenty of Jonathans!). I kept asking for his surname and company name, but he just refused and then hung up on me. Proper rude behaviour. If anyone reckons they know which company this is, please let me know so I can report them to the FSA and the Telephone Preference Service. Drop me a line at [email protected].
