8 monthsSomebody rang me saying they were from some kind of car accident firm. They came across as quite polite but kept pushing for personal info, trying to get me to admit fault over an accident I wasn’t involved in. When I didn't give them anything useful, they just kept apologising and then hung up. Pretty sure it was a scam. Honestly, it was a really upsetting experience, especially after getting loads of calls from scammers and fraudsters lately. It’s honestly quite stressful and bad for your peace of mind.8 months02037401181 really messed with me, kept ringing about some car crash thing. Feels dodgy, like a scam or something. I added a comment but then noticed I’d done it in the wrong place, still, it’s just as annoying no matter where you put it!4 yearsThis number is pretty clearly trying to scam people. They offered me a free 6-month trial for Evo, which seemed fishy since I’d just completed a three month subscription with the same publisher. Then even though they seemed to know some of my address info, they started asking for my bank details for direct debit. I told them as an ex-subscriber, they already had that info and I wasn’t handing it over again. I also told them to forget their so-called ‘offer’. They call me almost twice a day now but I just ignore their calls. Hopefully they’ll give up after a while.Evo4 yearsI've received four calls from this number in the past couple of days. When I tried ringing them back, there was absolutely no response. I've gone ahead and blocked the call on my phone, yet it continues to come through. Quite frustrating really!4 yearsNo voicemail was left, thankfully.4 yearsThey tried to pass themselves off as someone from The Spectator, but it was obvious it was a scam. When I picked up the phone, oddly enough, it was just dead air on the other end.4 yearsSo this bloke rang me up saying I could get a free subscription to The Week, which I thought was legit since I'd just ended a trial with them. He even had all my info, which made me think he was for real. But then I started feeling suspicious 'cause he sounded pretty dodgy and not like a proper rep. Plus, I never got any kind of confirmation email. I’m pretty sure it was a con. Don’t fall for it, people! 👍The Week4 yearsGot a call from a number that I reckon lots of different people might use.
