This number has called me twice now, claiming I owe money for some insurance I’ve never had. The guy got really hostile when I told him I had no clue about it. He threatened to send me a £300 bill if I didn’t pay £185 that very day. When I said I wasn’t trying to dodge any payments, he acted like I was being dishonest. I told him off, and he said he’d still send the £300 bill. I just told him to go ahead, I’m not paying a penny. Then he just said "we’ll see about that" and hung up on me.

Didn’t pick up and didn’t leave a voicemail either. So, no luck here with whoever that was. Why isn’t the TPS stopping these calls? Seems dodgy like a scam from what I've heard.

When I answered, the caller just hung up straight away. I’ve flagged this number before because someone tried to push insurance on my washing machine. It’s heartbreaking to think about elderly folks getting tricked out of their savings by these callous muppets. That’s why I’m tagging it as ‘dangerous’. I strongly suspect this is a scam. When I picked up the phone, there was a woman on the other end who was rather difficult to comprehend. She asked to speak to someone with a name beginning with M, but I informed her she had dialled the wrong number. Instead of ending the conversation there, she then inquired whether anyone else lived at my address. She didn’t bother to identify herself or mention the company she represented, nor the purpose of her call. I simply said goodbye and hung up. The following day, I tried calling them back, only to be greeted with an automated message instructing me to hold for an agent. I hung up once more, and I can assure you this will be the final time I entertain such nonsense.

Received a call from 0203 740 0234 around 4.05pm on Wednesday 29th May 2019. Luckily, my phone’s been dodgy and it doesn’t have an answering machine - which is often handy when dodging scam calls like this one. I checked sites like 'who called me' and such. The number seems to be from London, 020 code, but pretty suspicious. My Malwarebytes and Extra Security++ Firewall seriously recommended I block and not respond.

Watch out for this, my elderly folks just got a call from a woman who sounded really distressed then suddenly ended the call. It really shook my dad up since he was on his own, and he has heart problems. He was so concerned he called my husband because he didn't know how to check the caller's identity.
