After reporting an incident, I noticed I had some missed calls, probably from the police. Tried calling back twice but no one picked up.

Got loads of calls from a number that didn’t show up on my caller ID, kept ringing but I didn’t answer. When I finally picked up, they said it was the police. Quite concerning!

This lot is nothing but a dodgy call centre! I can't imagine anyone is keen on being disturbed by them ringing at half past seven in the morning, especially right after grinding away for nine solid hours on a shift, which is precisely what I dealt with. They really need to be shut down!

Did this person claim to be from the police station, then?

Had a rather inconvenient call on my home phone at half past midnight! It startled my five little ones awake, and by the time I dashed to answer, the caller had already hung up. Absolutely no clue who it could have been!

I received a call from the number mentioned above, supposedly from a police officer who claimed to be following up on my 999 call. I had to terminate the call, as I felt quite condescended to, and honestly, this so-called concerned officer was just as patronising as the first one I had the misfortune of speaking with!
