On Monday 15th February, I received a robocall from this number claiming they were from HMRC and accusing me of tax fraud. It freaked me out a bit as they said I’d be arrested if I didn’t comply with their demands. The thing is, I’m a full-time student and don’t pay tax anyway. I tried ringing HMRC to report it but ended up stuck on hold for over 30 minutes before giving up. I also sent them an email about phishing calls but haven’t heard back yet. Just a heads up - be careful if you get calls from this number. Always google any unknown missed calls, and remember HMRC won’t just ring you out of the blue.
