Had a couple of missed calls from this number, but I wasn’t quick enough to pick up. Gave it a ring back and the bloke on the other end sounded like he was in a right old pub. I had to repeat my last name three times before he finally got it - honestly, he seemed a bit worse for wear. Then he started going on about some investment opportunity. I had enough of it and ended the call.

Gave me a ring as well - considering that a lot of the unidentified calls I receive tend to be dodgy, I’m guessing this one’s a con too.

I received a rather dubious call from some unscrupulous individuals claiming to be from a fraud investigation unit. They incessantly referred to me as Mr. Lawrence. If they're going to indulge in such shady activities, one would think they could at least bother to get the name correct! Absolutely outrageous behaviour.
