Got a call from some pushy bloke trying to sell me something, wouldn’t take a hint when I said no, and rang me up twice in the same day. Proper annoying.

They claimed to be from Yell. They went on and on about marketing stuff even tho I just got a free listing with Yell yesterday. Said they'd ring me again but never did. They sounded like they knew their stuff, but I found it odd they'd offer so much help for a free listing.

It seems I received a call from Yell Business, though I’m quite uncertain about the purpose of it. To be honest, I’ve no intention of calling back.

Some bloke said he was from Yell Marketing and rang me up on a bank holiday after I asked another site about making a website. Clearly they got my info from somewhere else. The moment I said I’m not signing up today, his attitude totally shifted.

They rang my work but didn’t leave a message, so no clue who it was. After seeing what others said, sounds like it could be a sales or scam call.

BBC News is a free TV news station from the UK. It first started broadcasting as BBC News 24 on 9th November 1997 at 5.30 pm, marking the BBC’s entrance into digital TV channels in the UK. It was the first proper rival to Sky News, which had been on air since 1989. I just copied that from Wikipedia because the Irish bloke sounded a bit like someone from BBC News.

Got this from Yell. In algebra, 'the theory of equations' deals with algebraic or "polynomial" equations, basically those made from polynomials. The big question there was figuring out when u can solve those algebraic equations algebraically. Honestly, I get this way better than I ever got the Irish accent!!!

Wasn't able to figure out who it was, had a strong Irish accent, kept saying something about holidays in Donegal! Just blocked them.

Same here, this is the third call I’ve had today. The voice had a Northern Irish accent. They were shouting something about a flyer or advert.

Got a call from Yell like 5 times today. They kept pushing me to sign up for some business advertising deal, I told em I wasn’t interested. The guy speaking had a strong Irish accent, barely got what he was saying. Ended up blocking the number. They keep ringing from different local numbers. Claimed he was my account manager or something.

s = d ÷ t. speed = distance divided by time. a = (v-u) ÷ t. acceleration = difference in velocity over time. F = m × a. Force equals mass times acceleration. w = m × g. weight is mass multiplied by gravity. p = m × v. momentum equals mass times velocity. (mv - mu) = F × t. change in momentum equals Force times time. d = m ÷ v. density is mass over volume. honestly, for the 6th time listening to yell, these formulas make more sense to me than his thick rish accent!

Someone rang me claiming to be from Yell, spoke with a strong Irish accent. We chatted for a bit, then he said the promotion was free, which raised red flags for me. He then sent a text with a link to crankwheel, and that’s when I decided to end the call since it felt dodgy. Couple of minutes later, I got another call from an Irish number, assumed it was the same bloke so I didn’t pick up!
