Got a call from someone saying they were from HMRC, warning me about some fraud going on with my details and asking me to hit button 1. Felt fishy right away.

Got another call today, second one actually. It wasn't silent this time, the bloke said he was from some call blocking company and that he was updating my settings to stop telemarketing calls. Said he’d be sorting my call blocking overall. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

There should be a way to track down these callers and make them pay, especially since they're preying on elderly folks.
