A random person wanted me to go with them down some alley by Arndale. They were promising free V-Bucks and then tried to get me into a van. I grabbed the V-Bucks and dashed off right away, no way was I getting in that!

The caller was claiming there was a discount from O2, but I could tell straight away it was a scam.

Some bloke said he was ringing from EE, but I told him there's no EE coverage round here anyway. Then out of nowhere, he switched it up and said he was with Vodafone, trying to flog me an iPhone 15 Pro Max on a year contract for just £20 a month. I told him maybe he should zip it and just buy them all himself, see if he could make a quick buck reselling 'em.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Carphone Warehouse, which I’ve never dealt with before. They wanted my email saying they could hook me up with the best phone deal. I didn’t trust it though.

Just got an automated call from some bloke claiming to be Daniel from Amazon, talking about a supposed iPhone 13 order on my account. He was urging me to press 1 to chat with an Amazon representative about it-just in case I didn’t place the order myself. Naturally, I hopped onto my Amazon account straight away, and everything seems hunky-dory. Definitely a dodgy scam, so be careful!

Got a call from someone saying they were with RJ Legal about a car crash. They said they got my number from some website I'd supposedly agreed to, but honestly have no clue where that came from.

i usually don't pick up calls from numbers i don't know and they never left a voicemail either. saw missed calls from that number on my phone and tried to find out who it was online before calling back, but came up empty. anyone else been called by this number? wondering who it could be.

Got a call from some bloke who said he was Daniel from Amazon, talking about a purchase of an iPhone 11 on my card. Sounded like some sort of robocall, I reckon he might’ve wanted me to press some keys to get through or something, but I just ended the call, so no idea for sure.
