I got a call on my cell from this number. Some woman with an Irish accent spoke about my post office account, saying the call might be recorded for safety reasons and that she needed to ask a few security questions. I told her straight away I'd shut the account, and as soon as I said that, she just hung up.

Twice they rang me, managed to find all this info somehow. I just shrugged it off at first, but then they started phoning my work number too. No clue how they got it.

I recently had a go at opening a bank account with the post office, so definitely not picking up this number. Adding it straight to my block list.

Got a call from someone saying a cheque was paid into my mum’s old post office account, asked her for her maiden name which she just gave. After that, she couldn’t really catch what the caller was saying and just ended the call. Mum hasn’t done any cheque payments at the post office lately so it’s obviously a scam. Plus, the post office normally sends letters if there’s any problems.

I got two calls missed on my phone from this number, right after I phoned the Post Office about a problem with my online account. Could it be a scam?

Got a call from some business outsourcing place that’s supposed to be from Northern Ireland, at least that’s what Google said. Didn’t bother answering and just blocked the number straight away.

I received a call from someone who insisted they were from the Post Office, asking for my savings account password. Naturally, I refused to give out that information. The caller seemed quite rattled by my response and suggested that I could call their office the following day. Honestly, I suspect it was just a scam attempt.

Got two calls from this number on my mobile last Friday evening, once around 4.25pm and again close to 6.10pm. Both times, there was no sound on their end. Tried ringing back from my landline and reached some kind of automated system at ??? Technologies, said something like "enter extension or wait for operator." I waited a bit but got fed up and hung up. Pretty sure it was an unwanted call.

I got a call from the Post Office Credit Card folks, it was about a question I had asked a couple of weeks ago regarding how to get into my online account. Turns out, it was Bank of Ireland on the line.

I got a voicemail with nothing said, it went on for about half a minute. When I rung back, an automated voice with a Northern Irish accent said it belonged to HCL Technologies. No clue why they’d be ringing me up though, so I’m just gonna label it as a pest call.

My wife got a call from this number today, and they were asking her for answers to some security questions about an investment she supposedly has with the Post Office. She gave them the info and then hung up. We’d already had several legit calls with the Post Office about that investment, all made by her, so it felt a bit off.
