What a complete scam! I received a dodgy phone call from an automated voice pretending to be from HMRC, the UK tax authority. They went on about being linked to tax fraud and urged me to press 1, or else face immediate arrest if I dared to hang up! Honestly, I can’t stress enough how crucial it is to end the call and report the info, including the time, date, and phone number, to [email protected] is a genuine email address. It's really concerning, so please take care and warn your friends and family about this sinister attempt!
