I rang Virgin Media on 150 to sort out our disconnection but then noticed we got hit with charges :-
On 17th August they took £2.23, and on 22nd August £0.90.

Looks like the number 02037067643 also got charged £0.90 and later that same day £0.78.

I got in touch with Virgin Media to check up on a call from 02037066001. They told me the calls came through at 11:06 and 17:18 on Friday, 24th August. Turns out, I had to ring their freephone 150 at those exact times because my broadband wasn’t working. So basically, Virgin Media was billing me 60p for calling their own free customer service number to sort out issues with their service. Absolutely ridiculous!

i noticed on my virgin media bill that a call to 02037066001 had a charge of £2.72 plus VAT. turns out, the call was meant for their helpline at 150. thankfully, i had jotted the number down somewhere. i contacted virgin media and they told me it was a glitch in their system and promised to give me my money back.

I noticed two calls on my Virgin Media bill that I made to their 150 free number, but somehow I got billed £7.82 plus VAT for them. When I questioned it, they said they’d look into it but warned if the outcome was against me, I'd have to pay £99. After pushing back a bit more, I was passed on to another agent who confessed there’d been a system glitch in August and those calls shouldn’t have been charged at all. He promised to sort out a refund, so credit to the second Virgin customer service person for fixing it.
