I reached out to Virgin Media by dialling 150 to talk about our recent disconnection, and lo and behold, we’ve ended up with unexpected charges! On 17th August, they deducted £2.23 from us, followed by a £0.90 charge on 22nd August. We’re now starting to think that the same might apply to the number 02037067643, which was charged £0.90, then again later that day with an additional charge of £0.78. Absolutely appalling behaviour!

I had a chat with Virginmedia, my service provider, and they verified that the number 02037066001 had indeed received calls from me at 11:06 and 17:18 on Friday, 24th August. It dawned on me that I was the one ringing 150 to sort out the issues with their broadband, which was on the blink. To top it off, Virginmedia had the gall to charge me £0.60 for using their so-called freephone number while I was trying to resolve a problem with their services. Absolutely astounding!

i noticed on my virgin media bill that a call to 02037066001 had a charge of £2.72 plus VAT. turns out, the call was meant for their helpline at 150. thankfully, i had jotted the number down somewhere. i contacted virgin media and they told me it was a glitch in their system and promised to give me my money back.

I noticed two calls on my Virgin Media bill that I made to their 150 free number, but somehow I got billed £7.82 plus VAT for them. When I questioned it, they said they’d look into it but warned if the outcome was against me, I'd have to pay £99. After pushing back a bit more, I was passed on to another agent who confessed there’d been a system glitch in August and those calls shouldn’t have been charged at all. He promised to sort out a refund, so credit to the second Virgin customer service person for fixing it.

I was really confused when I noticed a £7 charge on my bill, and it turns out it was from Virgin. No clue why they charged me for that.

I noticed three calls on my old landline I never use, and they've charged me £8.18 altogether.

I noticed this number listed on my phone bill, but when I checked my call log, which keeps track of every call I make and receive, it wasn't there at all. Even though I could tell my provider exactly when the call supposedly happened and how long it lasted, they agreed that I hadn’t actually dialled it.

I noticed that a number popped up on our bill after we reached out to Virgin for support through their complimentary line, 150. So, I rang it from my workplace, and it greeted me with, "Welcome to Virgin Media." I followed up with Virgin to inquire about the charge, and they promptly refunded the amount. They even went ahead and dialled the number themselves, assuring me that it indeed belongs to Virgin.

Received a call that charged me £2.35! I've flagged it with the TPS as a dubious and scammy attempt, since Virgin Media seem unwilling to deal with it.

I just checked my landline bill and found charges totalling £9 for calls I never made. The weird part is, I don't even have my landline hooked up to any phone! How did these call fees show up then? Pretty confusing.

Our landline is actually unplugged all the time, yet this number showed up on our phone bill two times in one day, just minutes apart. We’re asking our provider to figure out how that’s even possible.

Twice in the span of just a couple of minutes, this number popped up on our bill on the same day. The odd thing is, our landline has been unplugged indefinitely! We're currently attempting to get to the bottom of this with our service provider.

This number popped up on our phone bill four times in a single day, and to be honest, nobody here has a clue about who it belongs to. The total charge was just shy of five quid.
