10/06/2016 Report from ANGELA Lots of folks complain about these calls without realising that the only reason they’re getting them is because they’ve shopped in the store or made an online purchase. People are quick to have a go at these callers who are just trying to give helpful info and do their job honestly. I’m sure some of you have even been rude, hung up, or said nasty things to them. Have you ever stopped to think that if this wasn’t their job, they wouldn’t be putting up with all the rubbish that’s thrown at them? It’s not fair to treat others badly just because you’re lucky enough to have a good job. So next time you’re tempted to snap at someone over the phone, imagine if it was your own family member calling or if you were in their shoes. Be kind and treat others like you’d want to be treated - simple as that.

This number rang me saying they were from Carphone Warehouse. The person on the line clearly explained why they were calling and even mentioned some of my previous purchases with Carphone Warehouse - only someone from the company would know that info. The caller was really friendly and seemed to know their stuff well. When they reach out, they’re genuinely trying to assist and just doing their job. I’d say give them a shot.

It really upsets me to see people say bad things about those who work honest jobs. They’re trying to help us save loads, yet as consumers we’re often quick to judge or just hang up without even listening. It actually makes me quite upset because the agent called “DAVID” was super helpful to me. We should give them a shot; after all, they’re just people trying to help us keep more money in our wallets. The assistant was entering stuff into his tablet at the same time I was filling out their order form on another device. it's carphone warehouse ringing. i just got a phone from one of their shops and they keep phoning me to push extra deals. they usually call me around twice every day. when you answer, an automated voice gives you two choices: "1 - to hear about other deals and 2 - to stop marketing calls." but if you pick option 2, the person on the line will still try to sell you stuff. best not to answer or return their calls!

It was that Carphone Warehouse lot, i gave them a spare pay-as-you-go number just so the staff could finish the paperwork for a phone plan quote. The quote looked alright but turns out the phone wasn’t even in stock. They make you fill out the paperwork before they bother checking the stock? Seems like a big marketing trick to me. Proper waste of time, so I went somewhere else. Now they keep ringing that number like I said. Once the credit is gone, I’ll bin the number and that’s that. Never give them a real number, they’ll just hassle you!
