Just got a call from someone saying they were from Google. They kept pushing me to confirm my business info and when I asked why, they just said it was to 'manage my data'. They wanted my contact details too, but I ignored them a few times and then they said they couldn’t provide theirs. After wasting some time with them, I told them I wouldn’t be doing anything for a random, unexpected call. I’ve reported them to Google for pretending and blocked their number.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent who said he was Ray Hamilton from HMRC. He told me I was owed about £500 in tax refund. Then he asked for my bank card info but I didn’t give it to him cos it sounded dodgy. HMRC would never phone you up out the blue to say you’re getting a rebate and definitely wouldn’t ask for card details over the phone. Total scam.

Yeah, some crazy Asian lady rang me from this number saying her name was Anna, which sounded off right from the start. Then she went on about me winning an iPhone or something. I told her the email said I’d already won and she kept rambling. Asked to speak to her manager, got passed through, and could hear her trying to scam another person straight after. I've been absolutely inundated with incessant calls - six in just one day, including some rather late at night! They've been using a variety of numbers, which makes it impossible for my phone provider to put a stop to them. I'm getting increasingly fed up with this relentless barrage. Here’s a list of the numbers pestering me:

I just got a call with pretty much the same story as everyone here. They said they were ringing from the Lottery, so I asked why they claimed to be from some "elite lotto" instead of Camelot. The person snapped, "No need to be clever, I'm just trying to help make your life better." They wouldn’t put me through to complaints or take me off their list. Honestly, they were pushy and quite rude. Feels like these lot could really take advantage of elderly or less tech-savvy folks. How’s anyone meant to stay safe from them?

Then he tried to push a lottery syndicate on me, said the first month’s free but after that it’s £39 for two months. I got a rather intriguing phone call the other day claiming I'd entered a competition to bag an iPhone 7. The chap on the line seemed to know the details I supposedly provided, which was a bit unsettling. Had this really annoying bloke ring me up, rudely asking what id do if I won the lottery. No idea how he got my details in the first place. I tried to end the call, but before I could he just hung up, probably 'cos he couldnt fool me. Definitely sounds like a scam, watch out everyone!

Got a call today saying I was in with a chance to win an iPhone 7. The bloke then said I’d won and even got a shot at the National Lottery with £10,000 prize. He asked what I'd do with that much money and jokingly told me not to forget him if I actually won. Then he repeated my details - which I never even mentioned - and asked for my bank info. When I said no, he got proper rude, accusing me of being scared to share info and prove my ID. He kept pushing and after I nearly shouted, he just hung up. Be careful, this sounds like a scam!

You claim to be a proper company, but you’re cold calling folks which is against the law. Also, it seems you’re getting people’s contact info in some way, which isn’t legal either. So from a legal point of view, what you’re doing is definitely not right.

Today, my mum got a call from them. When I picked up, I told them to quit ringing and take our number off their list, or I'd report them to the authorities and track the call back to their main office since I work in IT. After that, they just ended the call. If they ring again, I’m planning to mirror everything they say back to them and then try to trace where they’re calling from.

Got a call from this number earlier, saying they were from Elite Lotto or EuroMillions or something. I thought they were legit since they sounded really convincing, but then I ended up giving them my card info. The lady said it was for some kind of membership fee. Now I’m stuck not knowing what to do next. Proper gutted for falling for it.

Somebody rang me claiming I’d won a Tesco voucher and tried to push me into joining a lottery, asking for money to take part. They even managed to get my email, which really worries me. The bloke spoke horribly, with broken English and was quite rude too.
