9 yearsI received a call from Homespace Southampton yesterday. I made it very clear that I wished to have my number taken off their list. However, they decided to ring me up again today, right in the middle of a programme I was thoroughly enjoying. It's absolutely infuriating! I feel the need to lodge a complaint or perhaps take further action against them.Homespace Southampton9 yearsI received a call from someone claiming to be from 'Home Space', although the number was hidden. It’s clearly the same company mentioned by others, as they started probing about whether I owned a conservatory and the type of boiler I have. When I hesitated to share any details and requested that they take my number off their list, they promptly ended the call. Interestingly, I've noticed that after these bothersome calls, when I dial 1471, the system spits out a number that turns out to be impossible to reach. A rare encounter with a real BT representative confirmed that the number they provided doesn’t actually exist. It baffles me how this is possible when BT’s automated service has given it in the first place. Cheers, Ian FaustHome SpaceBTIan Faust9 yearsJust had a rather peculiar phone call at 09:58 from an Asian gentleman claiming to be affiliated with Home Space in Southampton. He started inquiring about my conservatory, to which I promptly responded that I don’t possess one. Undeterred, he quickly shifted gears and probed whether I had gas or electric central heating, suggesting I might qualify for a grant to upgrade my boiler. It was quite clear he had an inkling he was treading on thin ice, as the moment I brought up the Telephone Preference Service, he muttered an apology and swiftly hung up. Quite the strange encounter, I must say!Home SpaceSouthamptonPreference Service10 yearsReceived a rather dubious call today, claiming they'd help me secure benefits without any sort of means testing! They were eager to fire off a barrage of personal questions. I stood my ground and informed them I wouldn't divulge any information over the phone, which didn’t seem to please the caller at all. I’ve a strong inkling this is just another scam. Best to steer clear and refrain from engaging if you can!10 yearsEarlier today, on the 9th of December, 2016, just before 4 o’clock, I received a call from a rather youthful-sounding female. She claimed to be representing a company called "Home Space" and was rather eager to ascertain the date when my boiler had been fitted. When I firmly explained that they had, in fact, never carried out such work for me, she simply exclaimed, "Oh, sorry!" and promptly hung up. How peculiar!Home Space10 yearsSo, it appears that this lot go by the name Home Space, at least for the time being. You can reach them at 08081801286. It’s worth giving them a ring, as it seems to connect you with one of their representatives-who, oddly enough, won’t be able to place any outgoing calls while engaged in conversation with us! Quite the peculiar setup, isn’t it?Home Space10 yearsI’ve recently had a run-in with a lot of calls from a bunch that goes by the name of Home Space, or at least that’s what they’re referring to themselves as today. They can be reached at 08081801286. I suggest giving them a ring; it appears that when you get through to one of their representatives, they’re rather tied up and unable to make outbound calls while engaged in a conversation with us!Home Space10 yearsI just heard that a company rang my elderly neighbour, who’s living alone just two doors down, attempting to peddle loft insulation. She informed them that she’s already got some fibre glass insulation in place, but they insisted it’s outdated and requires replacing. To make matters worse, they claimed they had an appointment with the neighbour in between us, mentioning their name-this strikes me as a serious violation of the Data Protection Act. I've just had a word with that neighbour, and it turns out it's all a pack of lies. I've advised my neighbour to contact the police immediately at 999 if these chaps show up at her door.Submit Your Own Report (020 3700 3474)
