Got a call from a lady earlier, couldn’t quite catch which company she said she was from but mentioned it was a survey linked to Gallup. This was the second time she’s rung this week. Told her both times I don’t take part in surveys. They really don’t seem to accept a straightforward no. Feels shady to me - definitely a scam. Don’t share anything with them! From the questions they ask like how many people live with you, if you’re working, and how many kids you have, they can figure out who’s home and when.

Got a call two times yesterday. First call was awful, the line was so crackly I just hung up. Then they called back with someone else saying they were doing a Gallup survey. They wanted to know if they’d called my mobile or my home phone, how many people lived here, and if they could talk to the other adults. When I said no one else was around, they just ended the call. They called again a bit ago but didn’t leave a voicemail. Well, at least the number’s always the same one!

Like some others have said, this number rang my work phone twice. The first time was late at night and I missed it, then it rang again just a moment ago but they hung up before I picked up. I’ve gone ahead and blocked it now and told my coworkers about it too.

Somebody called claiming they were from Amazon Prime, saying I had to confirm the devices I used to finish cancelling my subscription. Thing is, I already cancelled my Amazon account days ago. When I said I was recording the chat, they just ended the call straight away. Totally sounds like a scam to me.

I got a call from a woman asking me to take part in a survey, claiming I’d been specially picked. Problem was, I couldn’t catch what company she was calling from at all. Is it just me, or do these sorts of calls always seem to hide their real identity or try to sound like some proper business? I just told her surveys aren’t my thing and ended the call.

Had no idea who was ringin me, but seemed like another dodgy scam call. Think I’ll sort out my TPS (telephone preference service) properly. It’s a free thing, just google it, put your number down and then you can report unwanted calls easily.
