A woman with a European accent phoned me claiming she’s from Gallup research and wanted to ask a few questions about life in the UK post-Covid. I told her I wasn’t interested and ended the call.

Just got a call on my mobile at 6:38pm from a number I hadn’t seen before. They didn’t leave any voicemail or message.

I got two calls from this number, one last night and another earlier today. Didn’t pick up as I didn’t know who it was. Fingers crossed they won’t ring me again.

They said it was some political survey at first. Then weirdly asked if I had a landline or mobile, even tho the number didn’t start with 07. They also wanted to know the number of people living in my home, which felt a bit off, so I just ended the call. Honestly, I could barely understand what she was saying anyway.

I received a call on my mobile at precisely 7:45 this evening. The voice had a North American twang-possibly American or Canadian. They claimed my number had been chosen at random for some sort of offer. However, the line was choppy, and it was clear it was an unsolicited call, so I decided to hang up.

On Friday 13th Nov 2020, I got a call from 020 3696 1888. Had a quick chat with a bloke for just under a minute, he said he was doing a survey about the weather situation. Today alone, they've buzzed me three times. I picked up around 8:30pm and heard a woman say “hello” before there was a loud beep and then the call ended abruptly.
