Just found out from my earlier comment - the site itself is a total sham! They’re actually going to great lengths with this scam!

That number called me once more and I could tell it was a scam straight away, so I played along for a bit. The bloke on the phone, who sounded Asian, pretended to be from some US company called Cactus before he just abruptly ended the call. I’ve since dropped Cactus an email letting them know these dodgy scammers are using their name to con people. Proper low lives, honestly.

I got a call from this number saying my computer had some kind of report showing issues. I told them my PC was running perfectly. They kept telling me there were problems detected. I told them I’m pretty tech savvy and know more than them. Then they just hung up on me.

Yet another call from someone with an asian accent, and of course, it's another scam. Seriously, why can't these folks find legit work and stop targeting innocent people? I always believed that asian culture valued strong family morals, but clearly, that's not always the case. It's really disappointing.

Today I got a phone call from someone called Jessica Williams, she said she was from Cactus Tech Support in the USA. I couldn't believe she started the call with a downright lie, so I asked how she could live with herself saying stuff like that. She didn't put up much fuss and actually gave me their contact info. I've since sent an email to Cactus Tech Support with everything and asked if they could verify it or maybe put a warning up on their website to let folks know their name might be getting misused.

These cactus support scam folks just keep ringing me non-stop. This is like the third time this month they've called, telling me my Windows has loads of errors and needs sorting out. When I asked which Windows they meant, they said Windows 7. I told them that's odd since I don't even use Windows 7, and then the bloke just hung up straight away. Such a weird encounter!

Someone rang me from this number pretending to be from a company called Cactus tech support. They warned me that my computer was having issues detected from the ‘Windows servers’ and asked me to open the event viewer to check for errors they could supposedly sort out. I quickly twigged it was a scam, so I said no thank you and asked where they got my number. They said “from the Windows servers,” which sounded totally dodgy to me.

This number just rang me up, saying they were with Microsoft and that my computer was messed up big time. I cut the call right away and looked up the number, turns out it’s one of those scam calls. If you don’t recognise the number or weren’t waiting for the call, best thing is to just ignore it and hang up.

They tried to trick my nan into giving them control of her computer so they could nab her bank details. Lucky for us, all the accounts are under my name, so the call ended up coming to me, not her. It’s awful how they target older folks who aren’t good with technology.

Yesterday i got a call from this number and ended up letting them into my computer before i realised it was a scam. Later i got a call back from the same number saying they were following up and tried to convince me it wasnt a scam, but i cut them off straight away. Seems like these scam artists are proper bad news and are really after me.
