They called me on 12th, 13th, 19th, 21st January and then again on 1st February. I’d blocked the number so don’t get how they’re still managing to get through.

Got a call from a woman with a strong accent, saying I’d won a prize that’d be on BBC1. In the background, it sounded like there were loads of people on the line. I was a bit unsure at first since I had put in some info on a free giveaway site recently, so maybe they’ve got the basics from that. Thankfully it all felt a bit dodgy so I just didn’t bother with it.

Had a call with an Indian accent and loads of noise in the background like other people working. Missed the first ring but answered the following day, they kept going on about winning a lottery. They started spouting my personal details and then wanted me to give my bank stuff. I had actually signed up to some free trial sites a few days ago so guessed it was connected, good job I was on the motorway or I could’ve really got tricked.

Someone kept calling looking for a David (i'm not male by the way lol), probably just guessing names to score or somethin. I hung up straight away and missed like 5 more calls after that. A guy from India called me and was really talkative. He knew loads about me from a free M&M sample I'd ordered online the day before (won’t be doing that again). Then he asked for my bank name and sort code - that’s when I clocked it and just stopped replying. Made me feel really uneasy. He was super slick, I only got wise to the questions once I’d hung up. He kept going on about lottery winnings and needing to send me money. He’s got almost all my details - name, address, birthday, phone number and email.

Hi there. I’m pretty sure this number’s a scam. Earlier today, I picked up a call from a bloke with an Asian accent who immediately gave a very typical English name and started saying he was ringing about some online competition I’d supposedly joined.
