Kept getting calls from this number. When I picked up, nobody was on the line. If I didn’t, they just hung up without leaving any voicemail. Definitely seems like one of those usual scams.

I got a call from a woman named Jessica who made it sound like she was genuinely ringing from Car Phone Warehouse. She told me they were running a promotion on all kinds of phones with Virgin Media. When I got a bit suspicious, she put me through to someone she claimed worked in Virgin Media’s sales and promotions team. Turns out, that guy was probably right next to her, just acting. I ended up falling for their smooth talk and agreed to upgrade my iPhone to the iPhone 13 Pro Max, paying £60 in two instalments of £30 each. The bloke who took my credit card details was really convincing, telling me the split payments were for security reasons and acting all caring. After paying, a guy called Timothy assured me the phone would arrive the next day by DHL between 6 and 7 pm. When it didn’t turn up, I called back on 020 3695 7506 and spoke to another man, Sam, with an Indian accent. He said the phone had definitely been sent and should arrive Monday. Well, Monday came and went, and still no phone. These lot - Jessica, Timothy, and Sam - are absolute scammers, just taking money from honest people. Really disgusting behaviour.
