I set it up through a call from this number, but when I spoke to O2, they confirmed they didn’t arrange any renewal. Basically, they’ll get you to ask for a PAC code on the O2 website during the call, which cancels your current contract and lets them start a new one on your number. Weirdly, I’m still getting service from O2, so I reckon Talk 24/7 are somehow linked to this scam.
