Got a call on the 17th of August, I wasn't in at the time and they didn't bother leaving any message. Seems fishy, could be a scam.

He kept going on about care homes, refusing to believe I couldn’t hear him properly and should just send me something in the post instead. I told him since he’d got my number, he must’ve got my address too, so he could very well write to me. He said that wasn’t possible. Sounds like a proper con to me.

Just got a call today at about 1:55 pm from someone claiming to be with 02 Telefonica, saying I could get a 40% cut on my monthly bill. They asked me to verify if I was actually with the 02 network, and when I said no, they seemed confused and kept insisting they had to check their records to confirm. It was obvious they were coming from some dodgy call centre abroad, so I didn't give them any details. Plus, we have our phone services managed by another company, so no way we'd be dealing with 02 directly. Pretty clear that was a scam!
