SCAM ALERT! They act like they're from O2 and are very convincing, but don't trust them. I told them straight that I'd checked reviews online, and they insisted it wasn’t a scam. Well, it definitely is! BE CAREFUL and don't get caught out. I nearly had a brand new iPhone, worth over £1000, sent to an address in Manchester, plus a new device plan added to my O2 account. Luckily, I stopped it in time. I've reported it to O2 Fraud already.

Tried to rip us off! Got loads of calls on my mum’s mobile from what they said were different firms (but actually it was the exact same number). They claimed they could fix some issue or other and asked for her complete personal info, even bank details. Absolute con artists. When I said no, she started calling me names like “idiot” and “stupid” and told me to go jump in a lake. Proper dodgy!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from O2, sounded like they had an Indian accent but tried to put on an American one, offering me a £10-12 discount on a new phone contract. They kept calling me “ma’am”, so when I asked why, they said it was “man” not “ma’am”. That was the moment I ended the call. So, I had a right laugh leading them off the trail. Messing about with scammers is pretty enjoyable, especially when you’re chatting with mates and your phone’s on loudspeaker.

Got a call earlier today and I quickly said ‘Hello!’ but all I caught was a weird noise like ‘ugh’ before they just cut off. Looks like they might have clocked my voice since they rang me about two weeks ago trying to get personal info they clearly should’ve already had if they were genuine phone company staff.
