Other times, I politely ask them to wait a moment while I start recording, or when they ask if I’m Mrs ??? I say no, I’m Detective Inspector ??? - in both cases, they just hang up straight away. It’s bloody annoying!

Got a call outta the blue. The lady on the phone was quite nice, spoke really well. She mentioned a £49 per month membership for this group of 150 folks and it all seemed brill till she started asking for your private info and bank stuff. Seriously, don’t hand over your real name or birthday! And under no circumstances share your bank details with someone you don’t know!!!
