got a call from some scammer claiming theres a fraud complaint against me with hmre. they said if i didnt press 1, warrant enforcement would happen today. i hesitated and finally pressed 1 but the number they gave to call back wasnt even registered. they also mentioned some other stuff, which sounded fishy. maybe some company accidentally left their info or got hacked. really hoping my phone isnt messed with now.

Sounds like a scam to me, the English they used was terrible and barely made sense.

it really freaked me out that they already knew my name. he started going on about some 70% off deal with 3, which i never even signed up for. i told him to take my number off their list immediately, as i never shared it with 3 in the first place. he kept pushing, so i just ended the call.

They called me saying I’d won a phone and tried to find out which one I’m currently using. I told them I’ve got an iPhone X and I’m not interested in changing. Then they went on about all these different offers, but I just kept saying I didn’t want anything. Honestly, it all seemed a bit dodgy to me.

i keep getting calls from them all the time, it’s so annoying. every time i block one number, they just call me from a different one. honestly, they must think i’m daft or something. so fed up with these rubbish calls!

I got a call from someone saying I’d won a prize, but I just told them I wasn’t interested and hung up. Almost immediately, they called back sounding annoyed and kept nagging me about why I wasn’t keen - honestly, she was quite bossy. She even mentioned my postcode, which felt a bit off to me. I told her to take me off whatever list they had me on.

Total scam, seriously! If you’ve already given out your info, best thing is to cancel your bank details straight away and order a new debit or visa card. They’re basically stealing from you!

Got a call from someone offering a free iPhone, but they already had my full name, number, and postcode. When I told them I wasn’t interested, they kept pushing and asked why. Definitely sounded dodgy, and their English was all over the place. Felt really shady.

I haven’t got a clue who they are, as I refuse to pick up calls from unfamiliar numbers. That said, they are incredibly tenacious! I've gone ahead and flagged them to my network provider, the Telephone Preference Service, and Ofcom. From what I’ve gathered from other forums, it seems they’re up to no good and likely a scam operation.

They claimed to be Vodafone, but there’s no way they were, unless Vodafone has started hiring daft people who can’t even put a proper sentence together. I just hung up straight away.
