My mum received a call from this number, and it left her in tears! I urge everyone to steer clear of these lowlifes at all costs! If you pick up, they’ll try to bully you into believing your Sky service is about to be terminated, and that they’ll be sending someone over to collect their equipment. They are the absolute worst! Based in Spain, they don’t bother with proper documentation or even sending real engineers; they just want your cash and then disappear!
A word of caution: DO NOT put your trust in these individuals!!!!!

Could you please clarify what exactly it is that your firm offers, Bill Gyoury? Just out of curiosity, what would your approach have been to pitch Peter C? I noticed the caller was associated with UK TECH ASSURED or UK TV ASSURED.

Greetings, I represent UK Tech Assured CB LTD (Companies House registration number 09477617), which is also registered as UK Tech Assured CB (E54834775) in Spain. It’s essential to clarify that we do not offer insurance services; therefore, we aren’t required to register with the FCA. I can assure you that none of our clients have expressed dissatisfaction with our offerings. We pride ourselves on providing same-day responses and ensuring new equipment is installed within 48 hours of reporting an issue. Should you require any legal documentation or wish to know our names, I am happy to comply as mine is stated right here. I can categorically state that we are not involved in any sort of fraud. In fact, we have initiated legal actions against Anita Kimbell, the individual who posted the prior comment. It’s worth noting that Ms. Kimbell is running a questionable operation at www.uktvcare.com, a site evidently plagiarised from our old website. Furthermore, her page features a deceptive link regarding her purported security measures-but there’s no genuine security in place: no SSL certificate or secure transaction process, which is illegal due to non-compliance with PCI standards. Our partner company offers an array of products ranging from web design and online business solutions to support systems and LED lighting. Regarding the remarks made by Peter C, we take such matters seriously. We promptly terminate the contracts of any staff found to be employing unethical sales tactics. Anita Kimbell was released from her contract with us for such conduct, and we appreciate you flagging this, Peter. I suspect James is another dubious character operating in the UK, having allegedly engaged in scamming individuals through Maintenance Support Plans over several name changes-at least six according to reports. It’s rather audacious to defraud others while trying to hinder us from promoting legitimate support options. One must wonder about the conscience in such dealings. Feel free to reach out through [email protected] or our partner company at [email protected] for any queries. We invite you to examine our robust security measures and encryption credentials; we are committed to safeguarding our clients’ interests without compromise. Best regards, UK Tech Assured CB LTD

Residing in the picturesque town of Altea, Spain, I've come across a rather dubious lot using a London phone number. They are the epitome of scammers, targeting the elderly and vulnerable individuals with relentless persistence for the outrageous sum of £198. It’s quite revolting, honestly. Such despicable behavior!

I’d like to raise an important issue regarding a firm known as UK Tech Assured or UK TV Assured. Although they possess a London phone number, their operations are actually centred in Altea, Benidorm, and Javea, located in the Alicante region of Spain. Frankly, I find them to be a fraudulent entity, completely outside the scope of FCA oversight. It's distressing to see them persistently hounding vulnerable elderly individuals, relentlessly seeking credit card information, even after being informed that the person may be suffering from Alzheimer's or dementia. They demand a staggering £198 for what they claim will be a three-year coverage plan, which, in reality, leads absolutely nowhere. How do I know this? I used to be part of their team, but I made the decision to leave due to the unethical practices I witnessed. I even possess names and photographs of the key players involved, all of which are available on Facebook. Should anyone be interested in these details, feel free to respond to this thread. It's crucial we spread awareness about this issue; it simply must come to an end. Additionally, they're launching a new venture under the name Eurotech, with the audacious aim of extorting £550 from UK residents over the phone. Their website, www.eurotech.io, reflects this alarming endeavour. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I apologise for the negative news. - Caller: UK TECH ASSURED / UK TV ASSURED

I received an unsolicited phone call today from someone who knew my name, claiming that my Sky insurance was on the verge of expiring. Here's the kicker: I've never owned a Skybox or a Freesat dish, let alone taken out any insurance for it three years ago! Quite honestly, the thought of paying for such insurance has never crossed my mind, and my bank statements, which I keep a close eye on, show no suspicious charges whatsoever. Upon doing a bit of research, I stumbled across information about a Sky insurance scam circulating online, so it's likely that this individual was attempting to fish for my credit card and personal security info under the pretense of offering a so-called "discounted renewal". The moment he realised I wasn't going to play along with his game, he abruptly hung up. Quite the cheek, isn't it?

Does anyone have a clue as to whose number this might belong to? Additionally, does anyone have any tips on where to conduct reverse lookups with ease? It seems that it used to be a simple task to enter a number into Google and discover the details, but for some reason, that method seems to have vanished. - Caller: unknown
