Feels like a total scam to me! They called saying they wanted to upgrade my phone plan and somehow had loads of details right, like what my current contract was and how much I still owed. Weirdly, just as they were chatting, my phone died on me. When I rang my network provider after, they said that deal wasn’t from them at all. So yeah, I think they were trying to pull a fast one.

Some bloke called Alex Gray rang me, claimed he was from Carphone Warehouse, which doesn’t even exist now. He sounded like he was of Pakistani descent or something. Made me suspicious straight away.

They rang me just now, and after that I looked at my credit rating and noticed it dropped by 2 points. Definitely a tough scam to deal with.

I asked the guy what he was after, and he came out with some really inappropriate comment. I just hung up straight away, didn't say a thing back.

I got a call from someone saying they were from Phonewear House. They told me my contract was ending next year and offered me an upgrade deal. Strangely, they even knew how much money was left on my current contract. I decided to go ahead with the upgrade, but it turned out to be a scam in the end.
