5 yearsGot a call on the 2nd of August from someone saying I’d supposedly asked for a £100 Tesco voucher. Never did, obviously. Total scam just trying to get your info.Tesco5 yearsGot a call from this number but they didn’t say anything or leave a voicemail, so it can’t have been anything urgent. I have no clue who it is, so I’m guessing it was probably a spam caller or one of those usual scams. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.5 yearsI got a call out of the blue saying I’d won a car from some competition I never even entered. Somehow, they already had my address too, which was creepy. They asked me to pick some numbers for a lottery to claim the prize. Things got dodgy when they started asking for my bank details, like sort code and account number. I told them no way, and the bloke on the phone suddenly sounded really rude and snappy. Definitely felt like a scam, so watch out!5 yearsSo this woman called, said I’d won some kind of prize with shopping vouchers - sounded too good to be true. She went on about how I could get 300 vouchers every week but it would cost me £39. I told her I never entered any competition and I’m not interested in paying anything. Suddenly, the call just ended right there!Nadine5 yearsSpoke to someone on this number and it sounded like a proper person. They told me I’d won something called the “comfort” promo and said I got 5 lines for the EuroMillions draw coming up on Friday. Then they pushed me saying I could get 300 lines for the next draw for just £39. Total con if you ask me. They wanted my sort code and account number too. Watch out, it’s dodgy!5 yearsI got a call from some bloke claiming I’d won a KFC deal, which I only signed up for through a game. Then he started rabbiting on about the lottery and asked what I’d do with the winnings. He even threw in his name was James and said not to forget him, joking about wanting chocolates, Jack Daniel’s and whiskey if I won. Felt like he was fishing for my bank info when he asked which bank I’d want the prize paid into. I promptly hung up - seems dodgy to me, definitely sounds like a scam. No chance I’m sending James any "chocolates, Jack Daniel’s or whiskey" from me! :|KFC5 yearsGot a call from someone saying I’d won a prize for a competition I supposedly entered around 10pm yesterday. They said they were connected to the Euromillions or something like that, and I could get a goody bag. Bit fishy if you ask me.EuromillionsSubmit Your Own Report (020 3695 1085)
