Over the course of a week, I got loads of calls from what said to be government research, asking about my political opinions and if I was up for a survey. They kept ringing me multiple times each day. When I told them to quit pestering me, they just came back calling from a number that looked almost the same. Proper frustrating!

this guy had my full name and sounded like he was from some official place. i answered but kept quiet while he kept going on about calling from some national organisation and asked for me, using my full name a couple of times. i just hung up straight away. total scammer for sure. i reckon if you do pick up, just stay silent and mess with them a bit.

This number has rung me twice today, once at midday and then again at half six in the evening. I didn’t pick up since the caller ID showed London, and I’m not based there. They’ve left no message either. When I looked the number up online, most results suggested it’s probably a scam. Got a call on my mobile, which was flagged as maybe a scam, so i just blocked it. Then, weirdly enough, the same number called my landline a few seconds after. By the time I answered, it had stopped ringing but the caller ID showed it was the same number again.
