10 yearsThis firm has been nothing short of a scam for my mother. Just a day or two after she scheduled an appointment with the oven company, her bank called to inform her that they had cancelled her card due to suspicious activity. They revealed that £120.00 had been charged. It wasn't until we checked her statement that we discovered an additional £50.00 for something described as 'planning for your future', along with the £120.00 for a clothing retailer called Oh Polly Couture. The bank managed to refund both amounts, but they have since provided us with proof that items were sent from the clothing company to an address in Enfield. It seems that someone’s having parcels delivered to their workplace. It appears they’ve mastered the art of dressing well while profiting off others' misfortunes.Oh Polly CoutureEnfield10 yearsI had the same experience with this so-called ‘business.’ They failed to show up as promised! I reached out to them, and we had a chat about a refund, which they assured me I would receive. Yet, here I am, still waiting for my money back. Totally scammed!10 yearsI received a call on my landline from a company promoting their oven cleaning services and went ahead to schedule an appointment with them. They requested a modest deposit, but to my shock, the following day, they deducted £60.00 from my account under the name "planning for the futu. GBR", yet nobody showed up for my scheduled time. When I reached out to the number they provided, I was informed that I had apparently booked for a later date, which was news to me. Curiosity got the better of me, so I hopped onto my iPad to identify the caller, only to find it linked to an unknown.com domain. It appears I’m not the only one who’s been duped; several others have shared similar stories. The operators spoke English, although one had a subtle Asian accent. To all unsuspecting souls out there, be wary and disregard any promotional calls you receive - it’s better to be safe than sorry. And do make a note of this phone number as a precaution for the future!GBR10 yearsEnterprise specialising in the cleaning of ovens.10 yearsI got a rather unexpected call the other day promoting a service for oven cleaning, and thinking it might be worthwhile, I foolishly agreed to let them come over at a specific time. They claimed to operate under the banner of National Oven Cleaning, and informed me that the total fee would be £60, with a £30 deposit required upfront. The following day, feeling a bit uneasy about the arrangement, I decided to check my bank statement only to find that £60 had been deducted under the name Planning for Your Future.GBR. Now I can't shake off the feeling that I've been swindled. Do take heed, folks!National Oven CleaningPlanning forGBRSubmit Your Own Report (020 3687 1017)
