This number has rung me a few times recently but it always cuts off after a couple of rings. I've just gone ahead and blocked it now.

I got a call from a blocked number and when I answered, the person just asked for my name like “who’s this?” Pretty suspicious if you ask me.

Got a call from some PPI firm claiming I had a claim on a loan or credit card. I asked them which one, thinking they’d have that info. When I said I didn’t have either, they just cut the phone off. Strange!
