They sent me a Google link to “check something,” then told me to press the Windows key plus R at the same time on my keyboard. This opened a box where they asked me to type ‘cmd’, which apparently showed the C drive and system32 folders. I told them they were just trying to get into my computer and that they sounded like scammers, and that’s when they abruptly ended the call.

Someone called saying they were from BT and claimed our WiFi was being accessed by others. They told me to search online at https://www.bt.com/ and to try using something called Nu Htmi checker. Then I was supposed to look down to line 23, where it showed a message saying, "Warning: The main role is unnecessary for element main." It all sounded a bit off to me.
