Got two calls from this number earlier today. I answered, told them my name as they asked, and then they just cut off the call. Strange behaviour.

They've called me heaps of times. Normally I just ignore numbers I don’t recognise, especially from miners. But after they kept buzzing me non-stop, I picked up. Some Chinese lady started chatting about finance and said I’d signed up for bitcoin trading or something. I told her it was rubbish and asked to get my number taken off their list. Still, I get calls from them twice daily, every single day! It’s relentless.

Just got a call from someone about an RTE finance get-rich-quick thing. Seemed dodgy to me, like one of those schemes where you end up losing more than you gain. Definitely not worth getting involved with. Stay clear of those promises, they're usually too good to be true!

Got a weird email saying I’d won some bitcoin after entering a competition I never heard of. They asked for my info but then nothing came through - just kept pushing to send them cash, claiming it’d bring massive profits. Honestly, seems like a total con. Stay clear and don’t fall for their tricks, it’s all a scam, a proper scam! Trust me, don’t send a penny!

This number keeps ringing me a few times but either no one speaks or they just cut off. One time a lady with a Chinese accent asked for a strange name and then hung up straight away.
I’m really puzzled, what’s the point of these calls? Could it be one of those reverse call scams or something else?
I don’t get what anyone gains from doing this. So confusing!

Called me half a dozen times within five minutes, what a bunch of muppets, honestly.

After the third call, my partner picked up and asked the woman what company she was calling from, but she refused to say. Then he requested to talk to a manager, but again she kept quiet. It’s super frustrating since they’ve called back a couple more times since then. Nowadays, I just ignore the calls and let them ring out.

Don't pick up unknown numbers or click on links in emails from Nigeria, they are usually scams. Had some dodgy emails with links, better to just ignore everything. Stay safe and cautious!

i got calls from some scam people in nigeria - they dont just call but email with dodgy links too - ignore all calls and dont click on any links in emails. they do this trick where they get you to say "yes" when they ask if you can hear them, then they use that recording against you for all sorts of dodgy stuff!
