Somebody rang me up, calling me by my name, claiming to be from 02, saying I was entitled to a free upgrade with a new phone at no extra price. I told them I'd give it some thought and get back later. After that, I phoned 02 myself to verify the call, and naturally, it turned out to be a scam. I didn't get too far chatting because I already felt it was dodgy, but I reckon if I'd accepted their so-called "upgrade", they'd have found a way to charge me or trick me out of some cash.
