Got a call claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse about upgrading to the newest iPhone. But as soon as I replied I already had one from them, the caller just cut off. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.

So, this bloke rings me up saying he's from Carphone Warehouse, trying to sell me an upgrade for my phone and bill. Not entirely sure if it was legit or not. At the start of the call, you could hear background noise like a call centre, and he was speaking in what sounded like an Indian accent with someone else. When I said no thanks, he got a bit pushy. My main question is, how on earth did he get hold of my number? It’s a private one after all.
