This morning I got a call from this number, with someone claiming they were following up on an enquiry I'd made about trading stocks online. Thing is, I never asked about that! I kept listening to catch more details, and then they started asking for my age, whether I was married, and how many kids I have!? Didn’t give them any info, but asked what it would actually cost. They said £250! When I asked where their office was, the person got a bit dodgy and just said London. I pressed for a location and they eventually blurted out Ropemaker Street. I told them to remove me from their list because I wasn’t interested, but they kept pushing. Finally, I hung up and blocked the number. I thought these kinds of calls were illegal now!?

Got a call last night around 8, and the person on the line knew my first name. The accent sounded kind of Asian, and I think they said "Bet" or something like that. I just ended the call and blocked the number, but these lot seem to have loads of different phones, so they keep coming back no matter what. It's a real pain.
