This afternoon, I received a rather dubious phone call from a gentleman who had a pronounced Indian accent. He informed me that I was under investigation for tax evasion. He attempted to pose as an officer from HMRC, but I could see right through his ruse! I didn't hesitate to end the conversation swiftly after giving him a piece of my mind!

My elderly parents, who are both in their 90s, got two calls from this number. The person on the other end claimed their Amazon Prime was about to renew. Pretty strange since my folks don’t have a computer and wouldn’t understand any of it even if they did. It was sneaky because the caller even suggested ringing them back for more info. I checked with Amazon, and they told me they never reach out by phone like this. Definitely a scam. They recommended reporting it to the police.

0203 670 3612 keeps calling me a couple times each day, saying they want me to do a survey. I always say I’m busy and end it nicely. Surely it’s some kind of boiler room scam. They've been ringing me like 3 times a day recently. When I picked up today, they said I just needed to answer 3 quick questions, but when I said I was at work, they just hung up straight away. After reading the other comments, I’ve blocked the number now. Then, about 10 minutes later, I got another call from a very similar number (020 4524 4841) asking the same questions, so I blocked that one as well.

I received a rather unpleasant phone call recently. When I inquired about the purpose of the call, the person on the other end was exceedingly disrespectful and started raising their voice at me. I certainly don’t tolerate such absurd conduct. To make matters more interesting, my partner happened to be present and didn’t take kindly to the shouting; he swiftly put that caller in their place, and they ended the conversation rather abruptly. My instincts are telling me this was some sort of scam.

Got another voicemail from “Officer Grey” from this new number, one of several they’re using now to scare people and nick their cash. By the time I’ve finished listening, I’m sure they’ll have moved on to yet another number (this is the second call I’ve had today from them).
